Active for Life: The Freedom Program

Active Life

Coaches
Chris Schaalo and Dr. Kalin Ashby

You want to be challenged without ending up trashed, look good without endless restriction, and increase the active years in your lifespan without being bored to tears in the gym. You value a life of freedom, without compromise. You live by your values and want a program that aligns.

If that's you...then keep reading.

This program is best for someone who has a decent history with fitness. You've either "graduated" from working with a coaching professional or are a coach yourself and are autonomous enough to do fitness on your own. You move well. You don't have nagging aches and pains. You are independent enough to stick to your fitness schedule. AND you want a program that will keep you healthy and sustain your active life.

It's all about longevity for you. The kind of longevity that isn't a mile-long list of biohacks. Move your body, quiet your mind, utilize your breath, sleep deeply, and eat nourishing foods. It's pretty simple!

This program aligns with that mentality. It's anchored in balanced strength and the right amount of conditioning to maintain your cardiovascular health. You'll also find mindset nuggets tucked in for decent points of reflection.

Program blocks are 13 weeks with 5 workouts each week, plus reflections. Workouts will take between 45-60 minutes per session.

Coaches
coach-avatar Chris Schaalo

Chris is an Active Life Professional who began his coaching journey as a shy 14-year-old on a mission to pay forward all those who helped him. Nothing gets him more jacked up than helping someone discover the necessary tools to elicit changes in themselves. Being able to make a living doing this supporting his family of 4 is something he has a lot of gratitude for.

coach-avatar Dr. Kalin Ashby

Dr. Kalin is an Active Life Professional and practicing Physical Therapist since 2019. He has a deep passion for learning, teaching, questioning biases, and discussing thought processes. In his spare time, you can find him powerlifting, playing with his three kids, fishing, hunting, or doing pretty much anything that involves a ball.
